Cork-Mounted Plant Workshop

Epiphytes are plants that grow on another plant but is not parasitic, such as the numerous ferns, bromeliads, air plants, and orchids growing on tree trunks in tropical rainforests They make great houseplants due to their minimal water and soil requirements and are easy to mount and grow onto organic surfaces. In the class you will create your very own mounted plant choosing from our wide array of colorful epiphytic plants, moss and a unique piece of natural cork. You'll learn about the care for theseplants, and can choose to create a small or large mount - all while enjoying complementary beverage ( Wine 21+ or Sparkling Juice). Morning classes include either champange or mimosa.

A few of the plant types and genera you may choose from include: Ferns, Philodendron, Hoya, pothos and Syngonium.

*Admission fee includes hands-on assembly and care instruction. And all Materials needed. You will take home cork mount that is approxily 5X6. Additional mounts can be made and purchased/ or a size upgrade can also be purchased day of event.
